Abstract
This Decision sets out the conditions to be fulfilled by the United Kingdom as regards the dispatch, transit and movement of live animals of the bovine, ovine, caprine, porcine and equine species, as well as the dispatch of meat, meat products, milk and dairy products. These conditions are laid down to ensure protection against foot-and-mouth disease. The protection measures include rules on veterinary health certification and cleansing and disinfection of vehicles used for transporting animals. Rules on the dispatch of semen, ova and embryos of the species above-mentioned are laid down too.
