Abstract
This Decision lays down the requirements for the quarantine which is provided for in articles 17 and 20 of Directive 2006/88/EC, concerning the introduction into Member States of live aquaculture animals of vector species into disease-free areas as well as wild aquatic animals of species susceptible to one or more of the diseases specified in Annex IV to that Directive. Annex I sets forth minimum conditions for quarantine facilities; Annex II concerns examination, sampling, testing and diagnosis of aquaculture animals.
