Abstract

This Directive sets forth animal health rules concerning aquaculture animals and related products. These rules shall apply to the marketing, importation and transit of such products. Moreover, the Directive establishes measures aimed at the prevention and control of diseases in aquaculture animals. Further provisions regard the issue of authorizations to aquaculture production businesses and processing establishments.
