Abstract
This Directive has been adopted in order to review and update the maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on fruit and vegetables, cereals, foodstuffs of animal origin and certain products of plant origin fixed at the Community level. In particular, in Annex II to Directive 76/895/EEC the entries regarding azinphos-ethyl shall be deleted. The MRL for pesticide established in article 2 of this Directive shall be added to the table in Part A of Annex II to Directive 86/362/EEC. Annex II to Directive 86/363/EEC shall be supplemented in accordance with the tables set forth in article 3 of this Directive. Lastly, the entries for pesticide residues as set out in the Annex hereby attached shall be inserted in the table of Annex II to Directive 90/642/EEC.
