Abstract
The Decree amends a number of legislative texts relating to the fixing of maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on products on plant and animal origin, in accordance with Commission Directive 2000/82/EC. With article 1 to this Decree, the entries regarding azinphos-ethyl shall be deleted from Annex II to Ministerial Decree No. 300481/84. With article 2, a set of new maximum levels for pesticide residues are added to Annex II (Part A) of Ministerial Decree No. 290341/88. Also, amendments regarding new maximum levels for pesticide residues are brought forth to Annex V (Part A and B) of Presidential Decree No. 497/89 with the Table contained in article 3 to this Decree. Article 4 contains a Table which adds certain maximum levels for pesticide residues to Annex II of Ministerial Decree No. 352654/95.

Entry into force notes
The provisions of this Decree shall enter into force: as from 1 July 2001 for azinphos-ethyl, propham, and dinoterb; as from 1 July 2002 for DNOC, pyrazophos, and monolinuron; as from 1 January 2003 for chlozolinate and tecnazene.
