Abstract
The purpose of this Directive is the definition of a uniform model both for the register of approved establishments and intermediaries and for the list of registered establishments and intermediaries engaged in the animal feed sector. Chapters III and IV are devoted to the approval of establishments located in third countries and the registration of establishments located in thirds countries respectively. Article 5 regards on-the-spot checks to be carried out by the experts of the Commission and the Member States to verify the effective compliance with this Directive. The register referred to in article 5(1) as well as the list referred to in article 10(1) of Directive 95/69/EC shall be drawn up in accordance with the model laid down respectively in Chapters I.1 or I.2 to the Annex hereby attached.
