Abstract
This amending Regulation updates the implementing measures for products of animal origin in line with recent changes, particularly regarding model health certificates for imports, harmonisation of testing methods for milk, and the procedures for certifying fishery products, bivalve molluscs, and honey. The regulation introduces new analytical and certification requirements, specifies acceptable methods for testing (including alternative methods validated against reference standards), and repeals older Decisions on import conditions for animal-origin products to streamline and modernise food safety compliance across the EU.
