Abstract
This Regulation lays down particular derogations from certain provisions of Council Directive 1999/105/EC which establishes that forest reproductive material destined to be placed on the market shall be derived from material which fulfills the requirements laid down in the Annexes to that Directive. The present Regulation shall apply to basic material of Pinus pinaster Ait meeting the requirements of the aforementioned Directive, with the exception of point 1 (c) of Annex IV. Member States may authorize the marketing of such reproductive material under the category Qualified .
