Council Directive 1999/20/EC amending Directives 70/524/EEC concerning additives in feedingstuffs, 82/ 471/EEC concerning certain products used in animal nutrition, 95/53/EC fixing the principles governing the organisation of official inspections in the field of animal nutrition and 95/69/EC laying down the conditions and arrangements for approving and registering certain establishments and intermediaries operating in the animal feed sector.

This Directive lays down some amendments to certain Community provisions in force dealing with the animal feed sector. In particular, Directive 70/524/EEC is amended by article 1 of this Directive as follows: paragraph 6 is added to article 13; article 16a shall be inserted. Furthermore, paragraph 4 shall be added to article 3 of Directive 82/471/EEC (art. 2); in article 2(1)(c) of Directive 95/53/EC, the third indent shall be replaced (art. 3); the second and third sentences of article 6(2) of Directive 95/69/EC shall be replaced (art. 4).
