Abstract
This Regulation sets out specific provisions governing the importation of agricultural products from third countries, with a view to protecting human health against radioactive contamination caused by the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power station. In particular, the Regulation fixes maximum accumulated radioactive levels allowed in terms of caesium-134 and caesium-137.
