Order No. 846 on import of food with special restrictions.

The Order applies to the importat into Denmark, and imports from Denmark to other EU countries, Andorra, Norway and Switzerland of animal and non-animal originating food destined to human consumption. It imposes special restrictions on food originating in or imported from outside the EU trade area (exclusion of Faroe Islands, Greenland, Ceuta and Melilla in Spain, and overseas territories in the Republic of France). Certification of analytical tests carried out in order to ensure no risks may endanger human health are restriction requirements for a list of countries.
