Abstract
This Directive has been adopted with a view to strenghtening the protection of consumers against those intolerances that might derive from particular ingredients present in foodstuffs. Annex IIIa is added to Directive 2000/13/EC. This new Annex contains the list of those ingredients which shall be compulsorily indicated in the labels.
