Abstract
This Order sets regulations with regard to the labelling and advertising of foodstuffs on sale within the European Community. The labelling criteria applies to all foodstuffs and food products, and must indicate precise ingredients contained in foodstuffs, beverages, fruit and vegetables, etc. for human consumption. Regulations in this document may be waived if the food is intended for sale within the European Communities and is labelled in adherence to regulations in force in the related country.
Appendix 1 - Categories of ingredients which category indication may replace indication of a specific description (art. 18).
Appendix 2 - Category description of additives used in labelling of pre-package food products (art. 19).
Appendix 3 - Alcohol determination and tolerances (art. 32).
Appendix 4 - Additives for surface treatment of citrus fruits to be labelled in accordance to article 59.
Appendix 5 - Allergenic ingredients as described in art. 10 (section 1, No. 3).
Appendix 6 - Beverages and confectionery products with glycyrrhizin acid or ammonium salt to be labelled with licorice contents in adherence to article 26, section 2.
