Abstract
This Directive lays down some amendments to Directive 2012/27/EU on energy efficiency. Article 7 on energy savings obligation of Member States is replaced. Further it is stipulated that by 31 October 2022, the Commission shall assess whether the Union has achieved its 2020 headline targets on energy efficiency.
