Abstract
The objective of this Agreement is to provide a legal framework aimed at ensuring that all imports into the European Union from the Central African Republic of timber products have been legally produced and, thereby, to promote trade in timber products. To this end the Parties establish a Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade Licensing Scheme.
