Act on certain compensations for rural development (No. 1333 of 2022).

The present Act applies to compensations under Article 69a and 69b of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 of the European Parliament and of the Council, compensation for non-productive investments under Article 73 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2115, and compensation for agricultural advisory services under Articles 15 and 78.3 of the Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 included in Finland's strategic plan for the Common Agricultural Policy for 2023-2027. Support can be granted according to Regulation (EU) 2021/2115 for: (1). Support for environmental, climate-related and other management commitments under Article 70; (2). Support for natural or other area-specific constraints under Article 71 (compensation payment); and 3. Support for non-productive investments under Article 73 (compensation for non-productive investments). Environmental commitments, climate commitments, and other management commitments refer to: 1. Environmental commitments and agreements (environmental compensation); 2. Commitments on organic production (compensation for organic production); and 3. nimal welfare commitments (compensation for animal welfare). The Act lays down general requirements for compensation.
