African Horse Sickness (England) Order 2012 (S.I. No. 2629 of 2012).

This Order implements in England the provisions of Council Directive 92/35/EEC laying down control rules and measures to combat African horse sickness. The Order, among other things, provides for: notification of suspected African horse sickness; measures if the disease is suspected or confirmed on premises; establishment of area controls by way of declaration of different zones; vaccination and declaration of a vaccination zone; measures regarding non-captive horses; and controls in slaughterhouses.
