Abstract
These Regulations implement paragraphs 4 and 5 of Chapter IX of the Annex to Council Directive 93/43/EC on the hygiene of foodstuffs, as well as containing certain national provisions relating to food temperature control.
The 20 regulations are divided into 4 Parts: General (I); Temperature Control Requirements in England and Wales (II); Temperature Control Requirements in Scotland (III); Penalties, Enforcement and Revocations (IV). Regulations on temperature control do not apply to primary production and activities regulated by regulations specified in regulation 3(2). (One Schedule)
