Abstract
These Regulations implement for Scotland Community legislation on additives approved for use in the manufacture of plastic materials and articles intended to come into contact with foods. The Regulations, among other things: contain provisions which make it an offence to contravene certain requirements of Regulation 1935/2004 and Regulation 2023/2006; provide for designation of the competent authorities for the various purposes identified in the Regulations; provide rules and standards applicable to the use of certain substances.
