Abstract
This Resolution approves the charter for the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia. It consists of 11 articles: General provisions (1); Scope of authority and objectives of the Ministry (2); Management of the Ministry (3); Rights and duties of the Minister (4); System within the Ministry (5); Structural units of the main staff of the Ministry (6); State subordinated institution (7); Legal entities under public law organized within the system of the Ministry (8); Main objectives of the structural units of the main staff of the Ministry (9); Property of the Ministry (11); and Other provisions (12). The Ministry is responsible for a broad portfolio of subject matter including: agriculture, animals, ambient air, environment, food and nutrition, fisheries, forestry, land and soil, plants, water, wildlife, waste and hazardous substances.
