Law no. 4711/2020 on Simplification of the framework for the exercise of economic activities under the responsibility of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food and other provisions.

This Law, consisting of 23 articles, and divided into three chapters, provides for amending legislative instruments, in order to simplify the framework for the exercise of the following activities under the responsibility of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food: licensing of aquaculture units, veterinary activities, breeding and reproduction units, livestock facilities; sanctions related to animal and fish theft and killing; description of functions of the Hellenic Agricultural Organisation (DIMITRA) and determination of maximum limit for its compensation payments; utilisation of agricultural and livestock special funds; payment of a special tax by the milk producers; mandatory labelling of milk products; wild boar hunting provisions, and game handling facilities; marketing of veterinary medicinal products; prohibition of use of animals in every kind of spectacle and related activities; restriction on fishing with circular nets.
