Abstract
This Ministerial Decision, implementing provisions of article 7 paragraph 3 of the Law no. 1564 of 1985, and provisions of the General Regulation no. 320703 of 1987, specifies conditions for the control and certification of seed for animal husbandry purpose, in compliance with provisions of European Legislation. Matters covered by this Decision include: definition of relevant terms; crop controls; classification of seeds; maximum content of seeds according to plant variety; requirements for commercial purposes of seeds; certification and labelling of seeds for trading; sampling analysis and methods for sampling.
