Abstract
This Regulation, implementing provisions of Act No. 1564 of 1985 on the organisation of the production and trade of plant propagating material, and in compliance with European Legislation, concerns: marketing of propagating material of cultivated plant species; the general terms and conditions for the control and certification of seed potatoes of beets, livestock and pasture plants, cereals, oilseeds, grasses and vegetable plants, as well as potato tubers intended for planting. This Regulation defines relevant terms and plant species and related categories; provides for seed production, seed cultivation areas, duties of seed enterprises, crop labelling, controls during seed processing, inspection and certification.
