Council Directive 66/401/EEC on the marketing of fodder plant seed.

Type of law

This Directive shall apply to fodder plant seed marketed within the Community, irrespective of the use for which the seed as grown is intended. The Member States shall provide that seed listed under article 3 of this Directive may not be placed on the market unless it has been officially certified as "basic seed" or "certified seed" and unless it satisfies the conditions laid down in Annex II.
