Abstract
This Law regulates: the procedure for the protection of designations of origin and geographical indications for agricultural products and foodstuffs on Croatian territory; the procedure for the protection of traditional specialty food products on the Croatian territory; the application process for registration and designations of origin and geographical indications for agricultural products and foodstuffs in the European Union; the application process for registration as traditional specialty food products in the European Union; the procedure for official controls and certification procedures related to the compliance with the specifications of the product.
This Law further provides data collection and registration requirements, offences and related penalties.
The Annex is an integral part of this Law.
