Abstract
This Regulation, for the purpose of rational management and protection of bluefin tuna, prescribes the following provisions: definition of terms relating to the quota and distribution principle; prohibitions on the use of certain fishing gear; criteria for exercising the right to award the State Quota for 2018; allocation of the State and permanent individual quotas to economic and non-commercial Fishing as well as to for sub-category of economic and non-commercial fishing in 2018; list of vessels with the right to a use the permanent individual quota intended for tuna fishing in 2018; list of vessels with the right to a permanent individual quota intended for fishing with in-car tools in 2018; terms and deadlines for the assignment of permanent individual and state quotas; maximum input of wild tuna (Article 10: the maximum input quantity of wild tuna from catches made within the quota allocated to the Republic of Croatia by a person authorized for the cultivation of tuna registered in the ICCAT Registry shall not be more than 186,17 tonnes in 2018).
