Abstract
This Regulation prescribes all necessary standards and specific conditions for imports of food and feed originating in or shipped from Japan after the incident at the Fukushima nuclear plant.
The provisions of this Regulation shall not apply to food and feed which is exported from Japan before 28 March 2011or which is harvested and/or processed before 11 March 2011.
The Annex is an integral part of this Regulation.

Entry into force notes
This Regulation enters into force on the day of its publication in the Official Gazette.
Notes
The provisions of this Regulation shall apply from the date of entry into force until 30 June 2011 and will be updated monthly based on the results of laboratory tests.
