Abstract
The Decree-law determines the general principles of plant protection against pests and diseases and appoints controlling and inspection authorities (Ministry, plant protection and soil conservation stations, officers). It provides for the use of pesticides and other protection methods against pests, giving guidelines for health, environment and nature protection. Provisions regarding the marketing, utilization and authorization of dangerous substances and the utilization thereof are also included. Detailed regulation of these matters is provided by the ministerial Decree.
