Abstract
The purpose of this Act is the protection of plants, cultures and plant products from pests, and the prevention of risks related to plant protection through the observation of laws regarding human and animal health, environmental and nature protection, and through rules on chemical safety in plant protection. Besides general provisions on the practice and management of plant protection, this Act also deals with the following matters: permit of marketing and utilization of pesticides, machinery and equipment used for the distribution of pesticides, crop increasing substances, environmental and nature protection, protection of human health, indemnification (in case of demages caused by quarantine measures), fees and fines.
