Abstract
A Provincial Water Management Committee is established in each Province, with advisory functions to the relevant Provincial Governor. Membership in the Committees is made up of ex officio Provincial Government officials, but the Committee sessions may be opened to attendance by non-members. The new Committees will function alongside the existing Provincial Irrigation Committee. Problems of water resource management in a River Basin Unit which is located in more than one province shall be discussed in joint meetings chaired by the Minister of Public Works or an official appointed by the Minister.
