Abstract
This Presidential Regulation, implementing provisions of the Law no. 61 of 2024, amending provisions of the Law no. 39 of 2008, provides for defining functions, tasks and the organisation of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and of its departments and agencies. The Regulation concerns the following matters: structure and responsibilities of the Ministry, including: formulating and implementing policies in marine spatial planning, marine resource management, environmental protection, fisheries management, and enhancing the competitiveness of marine products; coordinating tasks across various organisational units within the Ministry.
