Abstract
This Ministerial Regulation, implementing provisions of article 59 of the Government Regulation no. 122 of 2015 on drinking water supply system, provides for authorising guidelines for the calculation and determination of drinking water tariffs. The Regulation specifies: criteria for determining drinking water tariffs based on the standard needs of the customers, including: affordability, cost recovery, service quality, water use efficiency, water protection, transparency and accountability; classification of customers; basic costs required to produce each cubic meter of drinking water; mechanisms and procedures for defining water charges and rates.
