Decree-Law 16 May 2020, n. 33 Further urgent measures to deal with the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19

The movements restrictions measures within the regions introduced by Art. 1 and 2 the DL 19/2020 cease to have effect and as of May 18, 2020, movements within regions is allowed (Art. 1). Inter-regional and international travel, until 2nd June, is prohibited except for proven work needs, situations of urgent need, or health reasons; from 3rd of June, journeys across the national territory and internationally will be allowed however, more restrictive provisions may be applied in relation to specific States and territories (Artt. 2-4)
Economic, productive, and social activities are permitted so long as they comply with regional or national guidelines or protocols suitable for preventing of reducing the risk of contagion. Failure to comply may result in the suspension of the activity until safe conditions are restored. Regions have competence in daily monitoring. (Artt. 14-16)
