Law 28 December 2015, n. 221. Environmental provisions to promote green economy and to contain excessive use of natural resources.

This Law, which is organized in 10 headings, sets up measures aimed at promoting green economy in different environmental areas. Heading 1 provides for nature protection and for the sustainable development strategy.
Heading 2 disposes about the procedures for the assessment of environmental and health impact. Heading 3 is about greenhouse gas emissions and energy production facilities.
Heading 4 covers the Green Public Procurement. Heading 5 sets provisions concerning products deriving from post consumption materials or from the recovery of waste and materials coming from the disassembly of complex products.
Heading 6 is dedicated to the waste management. Heading 7 disposes with regard to soil protection.
Heading 8 brings provisions to ensure universal access to water. Heading 9 concerns the authorization procedures relating to electronic communication infrastructure for radioelectric plants and relating to the exchange of used goods. The last Headingcovers various various environmental issues, like the list of of environmentally hazardous subsidies and environmentally beneficial subsidies, the management of special waste, the institution and promotion of oil free zones etc.
