Abstract
This Legislative Decree lays down provisions concerning the participation of Italy in the scheme for greenhouse gas emission allowance trading within the European Community, set out under Directive 2003/87/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council. Annexes I and II to the Legislative Decree specify the emission and greenhouse gases which are covered by these provisions. The National Committee for the implementation of Directive 2003/87/EC is established.
