Abstract
The Decree aims at the homogeneous regulation of mollusc fishing, with a view to ensure the rational exploitation of the said marine resource. It consists of 15 articles and 4 annexes and applies to mollusc fishing performed with devices other than towed nets. Articles 5 to 8 concern restrictions on fishing as regards the period of time during which such activities are forbidden and the total allowable catch. Article 9 concerns the issuance of fishing licences, the territorial validity of which is limited to the maritime district to which the fishing vessel belongs. The technical characteristics of the fishing vessels and devices are described in detail respectively in Annexes d) and e).
