Abstract
Regulation on the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision establishes mission, scope, field of activities, functions, responsibilities and rights of the National Inspectorate for Technical Supervision, as well as the procedure for organizing its activities. The Inspectorate is an administrative body subordinate to the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development, responsible for implementation of state policy in the areas of activity entrusted thereto. The mission of the Inspectorate is to ensure the implementation of state policy, to carry out activities for state technical supervision and control in its areas of activity, in the prescribed manner and within the limits provided for by the regulatory framework. The Inspectorate carries out the functions established by this Regulation in the following areas of activity: (a) industrial safety; (b) state supervision over fire safety measures; (c) state supervision in the field of civil protection; and (d) geodesy, cartography and geoinformatics. It participates in the identification, assessment and analysis of potential risks, in determining probabilities of occurrence and consequences that may create an imminent risk for the life and health of the population, the environment or property.
