Order No. OANSA448/2022 amending Order No. 233 of the National Agency for Food Safety regarding application of sanitary-veterinary restrictions on the movement of swine from non-professional holdings to slaughterhouses, animal markets, in order to prevent the spread of African swine fever on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.

Abstract
This Order prohibits trade of live swine on agricultural food markets and animal fairs throughout the territory of the Republic of Moldova. It allows authorized sanitary-veterinary registered swine farms to move to physical persons only castrated pigs and no more than 5 heads. Veterinarians responsible for the movement of animals in the automated information system State Register of Animals must fill in the movement form in the section relating to the object of destination of swine that are subject to movement.
