Abstract
This Decree creates and approves the Statutes of the Mozambican Institute of Cotton (IAM) under the Ministry of Agriculture. It consists of 6 articles establishing composition, duties and competencies of the aforementioned Institution, whose main objectives are: to promote any activity relevant to cotton production (including trade), to cooperate with other institutions for the research on cotton production and to control the correct use of pesticides in order to avoid environmental pollution.
