Abstract
This Order of the Minister for the Environment in pursuance of Articles 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 14, 21, 23 and 42 of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956 amends the Miscellaneous Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Order 1991 by replacing the list of diseases in the Schedule and by revoking various Orders relating to animal diseases. The 1991 Order, for all the purposes of the Diseases of Animals (Jersey) Law 1956, extends the definition of “disease” in Article 1(3) of the Law, except in so far as the Law applies to poultry, so as to include the diseases specified in the Schedule to that Order.
