Act relative to the hunting of seals.

This Act applies to hunting of seals within the limits of the Kingdom and hunting of seals by Norwegian citizens, residents of Norway, and Norwegian entities outside of the Norwegian borders (sect. 1). The Government may provide that hunting of seals without a permit is prohibited and may place restrictions on such hunting. It may also impose a duty on catching of seals. The money so collected shall flow into a fund which shall serve to cover costs of control of seal hunting and research in the interest of seal hunting. The fund shall be administered by a Board consisting of representatives of hunters and Government officials. (7 sections)
