Abstract
This Decree prohibits the importation of all products of animal origin intended for human consumption or use as feedstuff from China. Exempted from the prohibition are products listed in Annex I (all fish products) and products of Annex II after chemical analysis as prescribed in article 2.
The scope of the Decree is to provide for control over international trade of food and other animal products, including fish and fish products, so as to secure good quality and to safeguard the health of persons and animals. Provisions are made for the registration of importers, border control, etc.
