Abstract
A Decree to make provision for the granting of licences to establish and operate installations for the breeding of fish for purposes of replenish fish stocks, to regulate establishment and operation of those premises, and to introduce measures to prevent the occurring and spreading of diseases in those installations.
The 40 sections are divided into 4 Chapters: introductory provisions (I); Granting (of licences) (II); Establishment and operation (III); General provisions (IV).
Licences to establish, equip, construct, acquire, expand, operate, etc. Fish breeding installations shall be granted by the Directorate of Fisheries if applicants meet criteria set out in section 4. Section 6 places limits on production capacity of single installations. Section 5 concerns the supply of freshwater and the introduction of non-farmed fish in installations. Section 10 concerns the use of seawater in installations. It shall be forbidden to keep parent fishes in the breeding installations (sect. 14). Sections 15 to 18 concern disinfecting of spawn and health controls.
