Abstract
This Decree provides rules relative to the operation of commercial fish breeding and in particular it specified quality and health requirements with respect to the breeding of fish in freshwater and marine waters for consumption and hatching purposes.
The Decree provides for health inspections and the control of biomass. Special attention is given to environmental consequences of fish breeding.

Decree No. 278 of 2004 relative to health control of aquaculture animals.
