Abstract
This Decree sets regulations with the regard to the processing, selling and exporting of catch by Norwegian vessels without approval by the Norwegian Herring Sales Board, which is responsible for the turnover of first-hand sale of fish species listed in article 1. First-hand sale of wild living marine resources shall occur with the approval of the Fish Sales Board unless catch is for private consumption. The ban on exports is lifted for the export of wild living marine resources by vessels registered in EU Member States. (Amendment to Decree No. 1693 art. 2, sect. 1) - This is in connection to the landing of catch authorized by the Fisheries Directorate in adherence to Decree No. 433 of 21 April 2006. Restrictions also apply to wild living marine resources unauthorized in Norway and in adherence to Act No. 119 of 21 December 2007 on customs and trade.
