Abstract
This Directive of the Director of Fisheries regulates fishing by vessels flying the flag of Norway in fishery zones of East and West Greenland. The last date of sailing for fishing with conventional vessels in East Greenland shall be 1 July whereas the last sailing date for fishing in West Greenland shall be 15 September 1998 (sect. 2). The vessels shall report on catch on board when entering the zones. Reporting on catch when leaving the zones shall be done in accordance with provisions of section 3. The Director may re-allocate catch quotas for East Greenland after 1 August; catch quotas which apply to West Greenland may be re-allocated after 1 November 1998. Penal provisions of the Fisheries Act of 1983 shall apply to infringement of provisions of the present Directive. (6 sections)
