Abstract
This Decree issues the Implementing Regulation of the Law on pasture and livestock management. The Regulation establishes the duties of the committees of livestock management. The Regulation determines the standards for the trade and the transport of livestock, livestock products and animal feed. Animals and birds have to be free from any symptoms of disease. Both local and imported livestock products or animal feed have to respect the national standards. The Regulation concerns also animal reproduction in particular the insemination methods allowed. It regulates animal health with specifications on disease prevention and protection. The text regulates and defines the use and exploitation of pasture. Regarding the pasture lands, article 18 establishes that water projects are programmed, well locations are selected, and their numbers are determined in coordination with the competent authorities.
