Abstract
This Decree-Law establishes the legal regime applicable to any planting or reforestation activity performed within the Continental territory. It establishes forestry new definitions; information system; forestry management planning; forest protective measures and other authorized activities related to National forestry management planning. It applies to afforestation and reforestation actions, regardless of the area under intervention, the species involved or the quality and nature of the stakeholder, without prejudice to the provisions of local authorities legal system.
Entry into force notes
This Decree-Law enters into force 90 days after its publication.
