Law on emergency situations.

This Law regulates the necessary operations and management of various emergency situations; also defining the system of protection and rescue of people, material and cultural property and the environment from natural disasters, technical technological accidents and disasters caused by terrorism, war and other major accidents.
This Law further defines the jurisdiction of state bodies, autonomous provinces, local self-government and participation of the police and the army in protection and rescue activities; rights and duties of citizens, companies, other legal entities and entrepreneurs in relation with emergencies; organization and operation of civil protection operations; rescue and elimination of consequences of natural disasters and other accidents; financing; inspection; international cooperation and other issues of importance to the organization and functioning of protection and rescue in case of disaster on the territory of the Republic of Serbia.
The Law is divided into XV Chapters and 153 articles, including offences and related penalties.
