Regulation on incentives for programmes for improving competitiveness for investments in physical assets of agricultural holdings through support for the establishment of perennial production plantations of fruit and hops.

This Regulation, as in accordance with the provisions of the Serbian Law on incentives in agriculture and rural development, determines the types of incentives for programmes aimed at improving competitiveness, which include investments in physical assets of agricultural holdings through incentives for raising perennial fruit and hop plantations, including conditions and procedural manner for exercising such rights to incentives for raising production. Incentives for raising production plantations include support for programmes related to: 1) support for raising new production plantations with modern technology for growing fruit and hops, without backrest and with backrest; 2) preparation of land for raising such production plantation. These incentives can be used for procurement of seedlings of fruit trees, vines and hops; purchase of necessary planting additional materials; preparation, cultivation of soil, digging and planting; chemical soil analysis with recommendation for correct fertilization procedures.
